Hey, I’m Jynae

I’m here to help you slow down and simplify your homemaking.

As a Christian homemaker, mom, and podcast host, I teach faith-rooted rhythms that help overwhelmed women go from chaos to clarity. Whether your home feels cluttered, your mind feels scattered, or you just need direction for where to begin—I’m here to gently guide you toward peace, purpose, and routines that actually work.

I always knew how to keep a home looking clean—but inside, my mind was overwhelmed, distracted, and tired.

I’ve always known how to keep a home clean—but that didn’t mean I felt at peace.

My overwhelm wasn’t from clutter on the floor—it was clutter in my mind.
I felt constantly distracted, overstimulated, and weighed down by invisible pressure to get it all right.

Perfectionism. Hustle. Unrealistic expectations. It all left me tired and emotionally scattered—like I was missing something, even though I was doing everything.

then something clicked...

Everything changed when I realized peace doesn’t come from doing more—
it comes from doing what matters most.

When I let go of the pressure to do it all and started focusing on what truly mattered—my mindset, my rhythms, my priorities—everything shifted.

Peace came when I simplified. When I stopped striving and started aligning my home and heart with God’s design.

That clarity led me to create a practical, step-by-step path to help women bring order and peace into their homes.

Values

my core

Simplicity

I believe peace starts with less—less clutter, less pressure, less hustle. Simplicity makes space for what matters most.

Intentionality

From how we spend our mornings to how we speak to our children, I believe homemaking is a ministry of small, intentional choices.

Nurturing

I aim to create a space that gently encourages—not pressures. A space where women feel safe, seen, and supported as they grow.

My story starts in a small town... and a big dream.

I’m the oldest of six kids, raised in a small town in central Alberta, Canada. As a little girl, when everyone else was saying they wanted to be doctors or astronauts, I said I wanted to be a wife and mother. That’s what I wrote on my kindergarten “When I grow up” worksheet—and that’s still my biggest calling today.

I was blessed with a childhood full of imagination and freedom, often barefoot outside with my siblings, playing for hours. At age 14, I gave my life to Christ, and ever since, I’ve been devoted to living in a way that reflects His love through my words, my work, and the way I serve others.

When I was 18, my family moved to British Columbia and began living completely off-grid—no city power, no convenience. We built a life from scratch in the middle of the wilderness: growing food, hauling water, heating with a wood cookstove, raising animals, and running on solar. It was hard, beautiful work—and it left a deep imprint on me. That season planted a passion in me for simplicity, intention, and stewardship. Life was slow, purposeful, and fulfilling.

While I don’t live off-grid now, my husband and I still dream of returning to that lifestyle someday. For now, I’m living that same heart of simplicity right where I am—on a modest income, in a small home, with big faith and daily rhythms that root me in what matters most.

In 2021, I met my husband while we were working together, and just 7 months later, we were married. Since then, we’ve welcomed our first baby girl, and I’ve stepped fully into my role as a stay-at-home mom—a role I cherish deeply.

But I also felt a pull to share what I’ve learned.

That’s why I created the Modern Homemaker Mom podcast, launched my online course, and built a community of like-minded women. I teach simple homemaking strategies—not Pinterest-perfect ones—but real rhythms that bring peace to the home and help women embrace their God-given role as wife, mom, and homemaker.

I don’t have it all together. I have off days, and I make mistakes. But my goal isn’t perfection—it’s peace. I want to live slow. I want to savour the simple joys. I want to remember the moments that matter. I want to live like our great-great-grandmothers did—anchored in purpose, grounded in faith, and devoted to the home.

And I want to help other women do the same.
